STEP 1

If the pen is full of ink stains soak the nib and section in water/ammonia solution for 5-10 hours. The tool is a combination for M800 and M600/M400 as well as vintage 400, 400N, 400NN, 100N, 140, 120 and similar.

The funnel-shaped pliers is fitted inside with a rubber seal to prevent any damages on the nib unit, very easy and simple to use. The small side of the pliers sits near to the grip section, the wide side sits near the tip.

STEP 2

Insert the nib correctly (nib must be in the position showing on the pliers). Press the pliers down and turn the pen to the left side (against glockwork).

STEP 3

After the nib unit is loosened you can use your fingers to screw out the unit completely.

STEP 4

To screw in the nib unit back into the barrell (after cleaning, flushing or changing) rerun Step 4 to Step 1!
